The tools you need
to comfort yourself aren’t always as complicated as you may think. Last week we went over some quotes for when you’re feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes reading something isn’t enough, we all know those days. I wanted to share 5 things I like to do to shake the overwhelming feelings.
Move your body.
The key to moving your body when you’re overwhelmed is to find something that makes you happy. You don’t have to do the hardest workout (unless that’s your thing). Something as simple as dancing to your favorite song or taking a 20 minute yoga class.
Meditation is something you can do almost anywhere. It’s about turning your lens inward and seeing where the overwhelming feelings are coming from. Youtube is a great resource for free meditations!
