There’s no shortage of amazing vegan spots in Austin.
There’s somethings for everyone here it seems, even your friends who “could never go vegan.”

The Beer Plant is a must for celebrating, taking your friends from out of town, or simply treating yourself. This completely vegan gastropub will NOT disappoint with almost 40 different beers available on top of all the amazing food options. Remember to save room for dessert because the Pistachio Rose Semolina Cake is OUT OF THIS WORLD.
I’d recommend the Hill Country “Chicken” and Gravy or the Carolina sandwich (banana blossom pulled “pork”)

For the Friends who “could never”
Plow Burger is the FIRST vegan spot I went to in ATX, it was a suggestion from a non-vegan friend, and it did not disappoint. The burgers are massive and the atmosphere is perfect, with plenty of outdoor seating and amazing drinks! It’s the best spot to bring your pup and grab a bite with friends. Bonus they have multiple locations and are open late to satisfy all your burger needs.
Location – 1505 Town Creek Dr, Austin, TX 78741
When I tell you it’s so good, I’ve waited for it to be open because the cravings were real one day! They have a new specialty burger every week that will keep you coming back for more.

Happea Vegans is home to the most Instagram-able vegan food! If you thought you couldn’t have fried chicken anymore, boy do I have news for you. Everything from this shop is made in-house and with lots of love and even more glitter!
Location – 900 Red River St, Austin, TX 7870
When I tell you this is the best vegan fried chicken I’ve ever had in my life, I am not exaggerating one bit. It’s crispy and crunchy and if this place didn’t have the word vegan in its name I would be second guessing it! Fried chicken is just the beginning, some specials they have include vegan SPAM, smoked turkey legs, and sushi! The best place to keep up with the menu is over on their Instagram!
What spot are you dying to check out? I wanna know YOUR favorite vegan eats in the city!
