Ok so matcha is my life.
If you’ve been around for a bit, you know I was an avid coffee drinker until I realized how much it was messing with my anxiety, so I made the switch to matcha. It’s safe to say I’m obsessed. Coffee obviously has so many fun flavors to change it up, and that was something I was worried about. However, I have been loving experimenting with matcha flavor combos for a little while now since and this one is AMAZING. It’s earthy and sweet and super satisfying. (And obviously tastes better in a disney cup.)
My Butter Pecan Caramel Matcha recipe is SO easy! I purchase all my matcha from a shop called From The Reserve @fromthereserve over on Instagram, and I have yet to be disappointed.
What You’ll Need
- 1 tsp From the Reserve Caramel Matcha
- 3 oz hot water
- 1/4- 1/2 cup of milk of choice depending on how creamy you want it (I use oat)
- Splash of Torani Butter Pecan Syrup
- Agave (optional)
What You’ll Do
Heat up your water, and mix it with your matcha until it’s bubbly then pour the mixture over ice. In a different cup mix your milk and Torani syrup. I use my milk frother. Pour your milk over your iced matcha, add in your optional agave and stir until combined!
- side note: I like to put my water and matcha mix in the fridge for like 10-15 minutes before mixing everything together, it’s something you can skip but I enjoy it more this way!
I also make this hot and the only thing that changes is you’ll heat the milk on the stove add the Torani syrup and the agave to the milk and stir constantly until combined and warmed thru!
