Why did it take so long to make double chocolate chip cookies?

I’m so excited to share this recipe with you because it’s so easy to whip up and so so good. I love when recipes only have a handful of ingredients and love chocolate even more. When I first made these I tried to fold the marshmallows into the batter and I didnt love how that came out to be honest so learn from my mistakes and just press them into the cookies before baking! I’m going to be honest with y’all, I personally can’t stand that long drawn out posts before a recipe, so let’s just get right into it!


  • 1 stick of Earth Balance – slightly softened and cubed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 TBSP oat milk
  • 1/2 cup Dandies marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips (optional)

What you’ll do

Preheat your oven to 350. Cream together the butter, both sugars, and vanilla. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. combined your wet and dry mixtures and slowly add oat milk as needed to form a thick dough. Fold in the chocolate chips if you’re using them. Roll into one inch balls and press a couple of marshmellows into each cookie. Bake for 12-14 minutes on a silicone lined baking sheet.
