The Animal Kingdom is for sure one of my favorite places to eat in Walt Disney World, they have so many plant-based options!

Satu’li Canteen is located in Pandora and has such amazing tofu bowls! While I’m located on my couch I thought I’d recreate this simple crispy tofu recipe, it’s good to snack on its own or you can create your own Satu’li bowl!
What you’ll need
- One block of firm or extra firm tofu
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. chipotle powder (or chili powder)
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper to taste
*Chili powder is closer to the actual taste of the tofu you’ll get at Satu’li, I prefer chipotle powder, however!
What you’ll do
Press your tofu, I wrap mine in paper towels and put it between two plates and put a cast iron pan on top! You can press this for 15 minutes in a hurry or for hours depending on how much time you have. While the tofu is being pressed make your spice blend in a small bowl and mix it all up! Toss pressed tofu and spice blend together, spray with a bit of avocado oil, and pop in the air fryer at 400 for 13-20 minutes depending on your air fryer!
