The Ever-Changing EPCOT

A new day and some more news, Disney seems to never sleep!

(but are we complaining?)

I’m still personally mourning the loss of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth that had its final showing on September 30th, 2019, but that’s another story. On my most recent trip, I went and got early seating to view the new Epcot Forever Firework show to be let down. I know, I know, Disney is the happiest place on Earth, and everything is great, but this show just didn’t do it for me.

Obviously when I heard the news about the new firework show, HarmonioUS I was elated! This new nighttime spectacular is projected to debut Spring 2020, though we don’t have an exact date yet. This is “the largest nighttime spectacular ever created for a Disney park”. Not only will this show feature custom-built LED panels and pyrotechnics, but also giant floating structures, moving fountains, and would it even be a Disney show without some lasers?!

I can’t wait to see this new show on my upcoming trips! Are you stoked to see it or wish that Epcot Forever was staying, let me know!

Yes it was sad to see illuminations depart, but it did have a long run, I’m surprised to hear that the fill in fireworks were a disappointment, mostly from Disney, yet I’m looking forward to our Family trip to enjoy the new Harmonious display, yet ill have to wait till November to enjoy, I will wait to hear from you about the new ones, as you will be there well before then, In reality, I just love Disney time and enjoy every aspect of our trips.
